Nine additional cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Jefferson County since the start of the new year, according to the Washington State Department of Health.
Jefferson County has a total of 229 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, state health officials reported Sunday, Jan. 3.
That's up from the 220 reported Wednesday.
Washington state had a total of 245,381 COVID-19 cases statewide, according to new figures announced late Sunday.
Washington also has 10,015 probable cases of COVID-19, or 255,396 total cases statewide.
There have been 3,459 deaths in Washington from COVID-19 through Sunday.
