A reference to Lynn Gressley in the March 1 issue of Leader on page A4 incorrectly referred to Gressley as a “she.” Mr. Gressley was a man who dedicated himself to working to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
The March 1 story on KPTZ-FM incorrectly stated that it has no paid positions. There are four paid part-time positions at the station. When Robert Ambrose, board president, referred to unpaid positions, he was speaking about on-air hosts, none of whom are paid, as well as his own current position, which is also unpaid, as are those of “several other key positions.”
Susan Jacob was the owner of Sport Townsend. Jacob’s last name was misspelled on page A1 of the March 8 edition of The Leader. In that same article, the discount offered to shareholders was misstated by a source. The discount is 5 percent for shareholders. Residents of three counties, Jefferson, Clallam and Island, must purchase $100 in order to receive a 5 percent discount.
