Concerts in the Barn will present its opening weekend of chamber music at the iconic barn in Quilcene this weekend.

On Saturday, July 17, and Sunday, July 18, the Carpe Diem String Quartet — consisting of Charles Wetherbee, violin; Marisa Ishikawa, violin; Korine Fujiwara, viola; and Ariana Nelson, cello — will perform with principal clarinetist of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra Ben Lulich.

All concerts are free to the public. However, all concertgoers must reserve their place in the barn or on the lawn in advance through Brown Paper Tickets, accessible through the home page of concertsinthebarn.org.

COVID-19 precautions will be taken and protocol followed, organizers said.
