Olympic Chapter of the WNPS Hike: Miller Peninsula to Thompson Spit. 10 a.m. About 6 miles round trip, 360 ft. elevation gain. Autumn walk in the newest state park on the Olympic Peninsula, through lowland forest to the beach. Bring lunch and meet at the new parking lot at 10 a.m. to carpool to the trailhead. Kah Tai Lagoon Nature Park work party. 9 a.m.-noon, We will be planting native trees and shrubs or pulling invasives or picking up trash if you prefer.
