The group that has worked to construct tiny homes as a means of providing temporary housing for the local homeless population is inviting the public to come and see their handiwork.
From 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 31, visitors are welcome to tour the group’s latest batch of tiny houses at the build site located at 2135 San Juan Ave., Port Townsend.
The group is also hosting a fundraiser by selling tickets to a virtual film screening of the 2019 documentary, “Community First, A Home for the Homeless.” The film focuses on the work to construct more than 200 tiny houses in Austin, Texas.
