After reading Stacey McCarthy’s comments on Bill Mann’s column “Thanks, Spreadnecks,” I have to say, thank you Bill. You summed up our current state of affairs with the COVID vaccine.
I can see that it comes from the heart. You experienced the polio pandemic and the suffering of its long-term effects. Many of us are tired of the stupidity and the misinformation that surrounds us.
If we follow such woke opinions, we will continue to be trampled by the lies and misdirection from politicians who are making COVID vaccination a political issue instead of a scientific one.
These are our lives that are in jeopardy. We need to unite around a common goal of stamping out COVID.
The opposite response is only prolonging the divisions instead of saying let’s take the bull by the horns and solve this pandemic together. This is not about violence but about respect and love of our fellow man.
