Clifton V. Forward

Clifton V Forward 90, passed away November 17, 2016 at Harrison Hospital as a result of congestive heart failure and chronic kidney disease.

Clifton was born July 27, 1926 in Fargo, North Dakota to Mabelle and Raymond Adams Forward.

Clifton finished school in North Dakota and then moved to Seattle and worked at Boeing. In 1944 he joined the Army and served as Utility Repairmen T/5, until he was discharged, on November 24, 1946.

In the 50’s, Clifton belonged to the Renton-Auburn Musician’s Association Local 360, playing steel guitar, along with country western yodeling and singing.

He later went to work for the US Customs Office , Sea Tec Mail Branch.

It was on August 6, 1955, he asked Isabell Brown for her hand in marriage, and twenty five years later he and Isabell retired to the Port Townsend Area, where they raised miniature horses, some chickens and Annie the Sheep.

Both Clifton and Isabell (May 21, 2016), are no longer here with us, however, they left their mark on us all and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The family held a private memorial service at Greenwood Cemetery in Chimacum Washington.
