The Chamber of Jefferson County is holding its first EV EXPO in October.
The electric vehicle extravaganza will showcase the community’s commitment to sustainability, organizers noted, and include informational panels; vehicle owners showcasing cars, bikes, trikes, trucks and more; plus food vendors and other exhibits.
The expo is planned for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at the chamber, 2409 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
People with interest in EVs can learn from the experts, as well as drivers who have EVs.
The Chamber of Jefferson County is hosting the event with the city of Port Townsend, Local 20/20, Jefferson County PUD, and Jefferson Transit.
Representatives exhibiting and participating in the informational panels include Wilder Automotive, Power Trip Energy Corp, Frederickson Electric, The Recyclery, A Taxi Cab Company, and ZEV Co-Op.
