A new pair of featured artists and jewelers will be exhibited at Port Ludlow Art League in July.
Artist of the Month Carol Nielsen’s collages will be on display, showcasing the new techniques she has explored during the pandemic.
Her mixed media artwork includes her own monoprint papers she creates using acrylic paints, stencils, lines, textures, and stamps. All in her own distinctive style, her work also incorporates other handmade papers, acrylic paints, and Asemic writing into her designs.
Sharon Zablotney is Jeweler of the Month for July.
Taking raw materials and transforming them into intricate designs, Zablotney’s glass, silver, and enamel beaded pieces are combined with a variety of other materials, including zirconia and Swarovski crystals.
In July, the Port Ludlow Art League will also hold its group art show online. Members of the league have created art that celebrates life in ways both large and small.
Find their work on display at the Sound Community Bank, the Port Ludlow Art League Gallery, or online at portludlowart.org.
The Sound Community Bank is located at the corner of Oak Bay Road and Osprey Ridge Drive in Port Ludlow. The gallery is located next to the bank and open from noon to 4 p.m. every Thursday and Friday.
