Brandon Eugene Williamson, 40, passed away on April 7, 2025, in Port Townsend, Washington.

Born on July 3, 1984, in Albany, Oregon, Brandon moved with his family to Port Townsend in 1986—his father's hometown—where he would grow up and build a life rooted in community, service, and joy.

A proud graduate of Chimacum High School's Class of 2003, Brandon was known for his vibrant spirit and deep loyalty to those around him. In 2010, he answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Army. During his four years of service until 2014, he served as a Cavalry Scout—a role that reflected his courage and commitment. His time in the military remained a source of pride throughout his life.

After returning home from service, Brandon discovered a new passion when he joined The Old Whiskey Mill shortly after its opening in 2015. There, he found joy and purpose in cooking—a craft that allowed him to share his creativity and warmth with others. Whether behind the grill or at a backyard barbecue, Brandon's enthusiasm for food was matched only by the laughter and camaraderie he brought to every gathering.

Brandon's interests were as colorful and dynamic as his personality. He was an avid fan of music and sports—especially cheering on the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks—and loved spending time with friends and family. A skilled pool player with a competitive streak and a soft spot for cats, Brandon also had a playful side that shone through in his love for Deadpool and quoting Doc Holliday from the movie "Tombstone." His booming laugh was unmistakable—an "efficacious" sound that could light up any room—and his epic beard became something of a signature.

Those who knew Brandon remember him as loyal, compassionate, generous, selfless, and fun-loving—a true goofball whose heart was as big as his smile. He loved deeply and lived enthusiastically. His presence left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Brandon is lovingly remembered by his parents Brian and Jeanell Williamson; sister Jessica Williamson; brother-in-law Jim Woolbright; nine nieces and nephews; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A memorial service and potluck to honor Brandon's life will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Legion Hall located at 209 Monroe Street in Port Townsend, Washington.

May Brandon's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire laughter, love, and loyalty in all who carry him in their hearts.
