I am sincerely wondering if people who voted for the convicted felon in the White House are having any remorse about their decision yet. As troubling as it is to have someone that cognitively deficient dismantling our Democracy, I am equally concerned about the group of miscreants he is surrounding himself with, starting with Elon Musk. Nobody elected or vetted him. He essentially bought himself a position in our government, and is now sticking his nose in places where it does not belong. At least two of his businesses are under investigation by the federal government, and he appears poised to sell four hundred million dollars worth of the ugliest electric trucks on the planet to our current administration. Sounds like a conflict of interest to me. Instead of boycotting our local Co-op, which is doing its best despite the efforts of a few drama queens, I would propose a boycott of Tesla and other Musk-related businesses. We are fortunate to live in one of the states that will not cow to the demands of the oligarchs in the White House; let’s make the most of that opportunity.
