Thank you for sharing the news about Quilcene School Board’s gender book discussions. I had written an article in the Port Townsend Free Press about what the impact of encouraging kids to question their gender in schools looked like first hand, so I know this is an important discussion. I’m grateful that you are willing to share all the news and listen to all the sides of the issues now. I hope that we all can break free of our division bubbles and learn from each other. The youth in our community are watching, and need that from us so that they can grow into healthy adults.
