The Portland-based solo acoustic act Lorain brings wandering, lyric-forward music to The Boiler Room, 711 Water St., on Saturday, Feb. 4.
The 7 p.m. concert is part of a benefit tour for The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights. Songwriter Erik Emanuelson said he is traveling via Amtrak, and plans to donate “anything and everything” he makes after he pays for the train ticket.
Lorain is to be joined by local acts Jet Sparks and I Love You Avalanche. Admission is free; donations are encouraged
