Beverly Brice, a beloved member of the Port Townsend community, passed away peacefully at the age of 84. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, creativity, and quiet strength that touched countless lives.
A graduate of Whitman College, Beverly dedicated her career to social work, focusing on the needs of seniors with unwavering empathy and grace. Her professional life was marked by deep care and advocacy, frequently putting others first.
Outside of work, Beverly found joy in genealogy, quilting, and classical music—pursuits that connected her to a vibrant circle of lifelong friends. Her quilts told stories stitched with love, and her passion for music brought warmth and harmony to those around her.
Beverly’s dedication to Port Townsend extended far beyond her work. She was a quiet force behind many local nonprofits, offering her time, wisdom, and generosity to causes that uplifted others with a warm smile and a listening ear.
She will be remembered not only for what she did, but for how she made people feel: seen, valued, and loved. Beverly’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched, the community she helped build, and the beauty she left behind.
A celebration of Bev's life is being planned, as is a park bench in her honor.
