November 29, 1932- September 14, 2018

Mom left us on September 14, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Pendleton, OR on November 29, 1932 and spent most of her life in Seattle, graduating from Holy Names Academy, marrying and raising her family.

She moved to Port Townsend in 2004, where she enjoyed a wide circle of friends and lived a very full and happy life. It was here she discovered her great love of quilt making, and became an active and productive member of the Cabin Fever Quilters. She also loved spending time in her garden, and always enjoyed making trips to the nursery to find something new.

Mom was preceded in death by Dave, her husband of fifty years, and by her brothers Jim, Pat, and Jerry Dooley. She is survived by her four children, Gale (Rick), Brian (Deanna), Vicki (Leon), and Bill, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was a loving wife, a kind and caring friend, and a wonderful mom. We will miss her every day.

Please join us for a celebration of Betty’s life on Saturday, November 10th from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. at the Northwest Maritime Center, 431 Water Street, Port Townsend.
