As reported by Aaron Brown in Real Clear Markets, “Would it surprise you to learn the greatest global two-year cooling event of the last century just occurred? From February 2016 to February 2018 (the latest month available), global average temperatures dropped 0.56 degrees C.”

Better to be prepared for cold winter

As reported by Aaron Brown in Real Clear Markets, “Would it surprise you to learn the greatest global two-year cooling event of the last century just occurred? From February 2016 to February 2018 (the latest month available), global average temperatures dropped 0.56 degrees C.” Martin Mjeczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center put it this way: “Humanity is facing a long, cold winter which could see temperatures across the planet plunge to depressing lows.” He fears sunspot activity on the surface of the sun has dropped so low that it could herald the arrival of a mini ice age. To paraphrase an old sports adage, it’s better to be prepared and not have a problem, than to have a problem and not be prepared. John Jamison Port Hadlock
