The Salish Sea Early Music Festival welcomes Maike Albrecht and Hans-Jürgen Schnoor for two performances in May.

Bach Cantata “Ich habe genug” will be performed at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 7 and features Maike Albrecht (soprano), Hans Juergen Schnoor (harpsichord) and Jeffrey Cohan (baroque flute). It includes the Italian Concerto (solo harpsichord), the Partita in A Minor (solo flute), and the Musical Offering trio sonata (obbligato harpsichord).

The following performance, “Bach: Cencerti & Cantata”, takes place at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 21 and features Albrecht, Schnoor, Cohan, Carrie Krause (violin), Elisabeth Phelps (violin), Lindsey Strand-Polyak (viola) and Adaiha Macadam-Somer (cello).

The group will perform Cantata 209 Non sa che sia dolore, the Suite No. 2 in B Minor and the Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 among other works by Johann Sebastian Bach.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church is at 1020 Jefferson St., Port Townsend. Admission is free, the suggested donation is $20 or $25 (a free will offering; pay as you wish).

The Salish Sea Early Music Festival is an affiliate organization of Early Music America, which develops, strengthens, and celebrates early music and historically informed performance in North America.
