The Arts to Elders program presents Pami-Sue and the Raindance Kid in a free performance set for 2:30-4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 10 at Discovery View Retirement Apartments, 1051 Hancock St. The show is presented in conjunction with the Northwind Arts Center and sponsored by the Port Townsend Arts Commission.

Pami-Sue Alvarado and Raven (the Raindance Kid) are a zany, eclectic musical theater duo versatile in song, novel instrumentation, comedy and puppetry. The group’s entertaining use of western, Hawaiian, pop and original songs, along with audience participation and high jinx, has delighted audiences of all ages, according to a press release.

Pami-Sue and the Raindance Kid have done concerts, open microphone and radio in Port Townsend for more than two years, but are best known for their seasonal, weekly shows on Water Street and outside the Port Townsend Food Co-op.

Port Townsend resident Alvarado sings and plays tambourine and tenor ukulele. Raven, Port Townsend’s “Man of a Million Faces,” sings and plays lap steel, ukulele and the fool, according to a press release.
