The number of COVID-19 infections has risen to 80 in Jefferson County, according to Jefferson County Public Health.
Another JeffCo resident tested positive for the disease Tuesday, Oct. 13.
The new case of coronavirus has been linked to a Port Townsend woman in her 50s.
A total of 9,454 patients have been tested for COVID-19; negative test results have been received in 9,313 of the cases through Tuesday.
Test results are still pending for 61 patients.
County health officials said 71 patients in Jefferson County have recovered from COVID-19 and are no longer hospitalized.
No deaths in Jefferson County have been linked to the coronavirus.
So far, 40 COVID cases have been found in Port Townsend residents; 31 in mid-county residents; and nine in south county (Quilcene, Brinnon, and West Jefferson).
