Thank you for the article on Tim Caldwell. Although volunteers do not need pats on the back, it is definitely appreciated. Tim has been dedicated to this City for many years. When he was with the Chamber of Commerce, he was nominated repeatedly for the Chamber’s Businessperson of the Year Award. He respectfully declined the nomination, believing it to be a conflict of interest. The Chamber members showed him by renaming it the Tim Caldwell Businessperson of the Year Award. Though the award was renamed after 2017, it remains quite an honor for Tim. Through the Chamber, Tim met and connected with many volunteers which gave him an even deeper concern for this great City of Port Townsend. So, thank you Tim and you other wonderful volunteers for your time and talents for our benefit!
