Anna was born in Bremerhaven, Germany on October 29, 1930. She came to the United States in 1948 with her husband, who was in the Army, and their daughter. She was the loving mother of eight children. She enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, baking zucchini bread and cookies, sewing clothes and knitting items for her friends and neighbors.
Anna is survived by her children, Shirli Ann (Rowe) Simmons, William Stanley Rowe (wife Karen), Linda Christine Rowe, Gary Allen Rowe (wife Cynthia), Jerry Kenneth Rowe, Gordon Irving Rowe (wife Dena), Tony Edward Carroll (friend Donna Scott), and Anita Joy (Carroll) Miller (fiancé Dan Eldridge). She has 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren who all knew she loved them.
She was surrounded by her eight children and family up to and at her death. She will be greatly missed by them as well as by her neighbors and many lifelong friends.
At her request, there will be no services, and the family will spread her ashes at lrondale Beach at a later date.
