My friend, who has dementia, called Peninsula Floors last week and ordered an area rug to be made for her. This was a purchase she really could not afford. I manage her finances because she is not competent to do so and I did not know of this until the rug had been cut and bound. When I called Mary, co-owner of the business, to discuss what had happened and to arrange the delivery, she insisted on giving the rug to my friend without charge.
My husband and I have dealt with Peninsula Floors or multiple occasions over the past 30 years, and they have always done a good job and have stood behind their work. This, however, goes way beyond the call of duty!
