AAUW Port Townsend holds its annual silent auction on Saturday, Feb. 18, which includes an array of new and gently used items and special experiences up for bid, in addition to live music.

The public is welcome to the auction, which takes place from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St. Only cash and checks are accepted. Auction proceeds are to fund AAUW scholarships and projects in local schools.

Themed tables feature hand-crafted jewelry, artwork, linens, housewares, baskets, purses, games, books, CDs/DVDs and other items. Experiences up for bid include an equestrian “Dancing with Horses” freestyle competition event, a summer dinner, high tea, two tickets to the PT Wearable Art Show, two tickets to Key City Public Theatre, massages, facials, weeding assistance, genealogy sessions and more.

The Duck Pond Trio, composed of local musicians Tony Petrillo, Jim Oliver and Dirk Anderson, provides music ranging from swing and jazz to blues and bebop.

For more information on auction details and donations, contact Jani Templin-Weller at 360-821-1336.
