Nordland resident Kathy Constantine’s “A Day in Spring,” was one of six winners in a national art competition held by the American Association of University Women (AAUW). The six winning pieces are to be featured in a set of cards, which is to be sent to AAUW members across the country as a fundraiser for the organization, which supports equity and education for women and girls. The piece is currently on display in the Northwind Arts Center’s Artist Showcase. Courtesy photo
