A three-vehicle accident blocked State Route 104 at Teal Lake Road beginning at about 7 p.m. on July 23, closing the highway in both directions for about 30 minutes, according to Port Ludlow Fire and Rescue Chief Brad Martin.
One vehicle moving onto the highway from Teal Lake Road clipped the back of another vehicle traveling west, which caused it to cross the center line and crash into a vehicle traveling east, according to a press release.
Eight people were in the three vehicles; two suffered minor injuries and were transported to Jefferson Healthcare Medical Center in Port Townsend, according to Port Ludlow officials.
Port Ludlow Fire and Rescue, East Jefferson Fire Rescue, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington State Patrol responded to the accident.
