My point is the large majority of gun owners who exercise their second amendment rights are not violent nut-jobs, to infer otherwise is just not reality, to simply declare that "guns kill children" is an inane comment. I noticed you amended that to "PEOPLE with guns do kill children".

Our politicians need to work together towards reasonable gun control legislation, I believe there are moderate voices on both sides working on this issue. Of course, the MSM prefers to concentrate on the extremists on both sides. Bombastic rhetoric sells better than quiet diplomacy.

You want fewer guns? Just what exactly does that mean? Banning certain types of guns? Some people want to outlaw semi-automatics, the majority of handguns and rifles sold are semi-autos. As I said before I would be OK with restricting ammo clips to say 15 rounds.

Enhanced background checks and "Red flag" laws sound reasonable, although I don't know how that would work if a flaged person hides the gun.

"Vote them out!" I like my second amendment rights, why would I want to vote out the party that protects them?
