The law firm representatives statement that the tents will mold without heat certainly has merit, however I am unsure how heating an uninsulated canvas tent can possibly meet the energy code. I am questioning how the use of electric heaters in a tent passed the permitting stage. I don’t think there is anything to be done to keep these tents from moldering away in this climate. Unfortunately the glamping premise was unwise and should never have been pursued in the first place. The PDA is between a rock and a hard place on this one and it is difficult to see a good outcome.
