Tell me how I, a senior on a fixed income (but assisted by my wife's pension), am better off today than I was four years ago? It's not that simple. George W. Bush, steered largely by VP Cheney, left our country in a messy recession and endless war that Barack Obama spent two terms dragging us out of. Then came Trump—to make things worse than ever in a short four years, near as I can tell. To expect Biden to make the future rosy against a Senate filibuster in one short lousy year is plain ridiculous. Let's wait for a corrective midterm election in 2022 and 2 or 3 more Biden years (at least).
