Report Inappropriate Comments

I remember elections back to the ‘30s and have participated in Presidential elections for 60 years (starting when one had to be 21) and the word “fraudulent” never became popular, as I recall, until this year—although gerrymandering and voter suppression by Republicans have become more and more of a regular thing in modern times. There was quite a to-do over the “hanging chads” of 2000, but Al Gore was a Democrat and a gentleman, and life moved on with George W. Bush heading our country for the next eight years.

The difference all of a sudden? A narcissist incumbent who can’t admit he’s a loser, never has been a true winner or pubic champion, is not liked by a majority of the public. An individual who has polished lying to an art throughout his life. A large segment of the public who actually had bragged about supporting his “style” . . . who now also are eager to appear as some sort of winners for society rather than losers willing to overcook the inconvenience of ever-present lies in the self-service of their lives.

Incidentally, he will not be allowed legally to ensconce his pompous self at Mar-a-Lago. He signed away that right. He’ll be more likely to wind up up somewhere with bars on the windows.
