In the Reefer Den Gracen Hook, 24, stands inside the Reefer Den on Aug. 24 at 2123 W. Sims Way - Port Townsend's first recreational retail marijuana store. Hook opened his doors Sunday, Aug. 23 after receiving his state license Aug. 20. Hook won Port Townsend's only allotted retail license in a statewide lottery in April 2014. Hook currently has two employees at his store, which is the third to open in Jefferson County, behind Sea Change Cannabis in Discovery Bay and Herbal Access in Port Hadlock. Hook said he offers a gram of dried bud for as little as $8. He's also the county's first retailer to carry products from Jefferson County Cannabis located in Glen Cove, including strains Kandy Kush, XJ-13 and Blue Liberty. Reefer Den is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Look for a full story about Hook's store in the Leader's Sept. 2 issue.
