The Port Townsend High School soccer boys get to play their final two regular season "home" matches this season at home: Jefferson County Memorial Athletic Field downtown.
Tonight, Monday, the Redhawks host the Chimacum Cowboys at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, PT hosts Coupeville with Senior Night introductions at 5:45 p.m., and the match at 6 p.m.
The Redhawks had hosted opponents using H.J. Carroll Park in Chimacum, with Memorial Field closed since November for a grandstand roof replacement. The county's roof project finished last week on schedule.
The PTHS soccer boys (2-2 league, 3-7-2 overall) have likely secured a playoff spot with a pair of wins last week, 11-0 over Chimacum April 28 and 3-2 at Coupeville April 30.
Klahowya (4-0 league, 11-1-2 overall) has clinched the Olympic League 1A title and No. 1 playoff slot. PT and Coupeville (2-2, 3-8) are tied for second and third, followed by Chimacum (0-4, 1-11).
The No. 2 Olympic team hosts No. 3 Nisqually League team May 9 while No. 3 Olympic plays at No. 2 Nisqually; loser out. Winners advance to meet No. 1 league seeds May 12. The league championships is May 14 at Orting Stadium.
The Cowboys conclude their regular season at Klahowya May 5.
