The 118th Port Townsend High School Alumni Banquet and Dance, presented by the PTHS Alumni Association, attracted a good crowd to the Elks Lodge June 13.
Special honoree was Pat McMenamin Burns, Class of 1937. Classs of 1955, 1960, 1965 and 1970 were also honored.
The first class to graduate from PTHS was in 1891. Six years later, six young women from the Class of 1897 met to organize the alumni association. Today, in 2015, the association is one of the oldest in the U.S. that meets annually.
