I have been personally acquainted with Joe Nole for seven of the 21 years we have lived here in Jefferson County.
Joe was my direct supervisor while I was employed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
I also worked for Dave Stanko while employed in this position. I found Joe to be a straightforward and honest man who values the people of this community.
He has many years of law enforcement experience right here in this county, has served as interim sheriff, and is extremely capable and prepared to step into the position, with no need to familiarize himself with the requirements of the office.
My family was a Coast Guard family, and we spent over 20 years traveling and living in other areas of the country before deciding to make Jefferson County our home. I want to know that the Sheriff in this county is dependable, honest, and able to make intelligent choices and decisions when tasked with the safety of the people of this community. For that reason, I am voting for Joe Nole for our next sheriff.
