I was born and raised in Jefferson County and I proudly served at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for over 20 years. For more than 10 of those years, I had the honor and privilege of working with Joe Nole. Joe and I worked together as detectives, sharing an office and working side by side on many criminal cases. Over those years, I witnessed first hand the quality of Joe's work and the dedication to his job. I have also spent time away from work with Joe and his wonderful family and I have seen what a moral and ethical person he is. I have no doubt that Joe Nole will make an excellent sheriff for Jefferson County.

Joe is a proven leader, he has successfully held the jobs of both sheriff and undersheriff with the confidence and respect from those working under him. Joe is an excellent investigator. His attention to detail is impeccable and he has a reputation for leaving no stone unturned. He has the highest level of honesty and integrity, he is dedicated and hardworking and as sheriff, he will not expect anything less from his deputies.

Joe also truly cares about all of the people in our community and he has always treated everyone equally.
