I am offering my support to sheriff’s office candidate Joe Nole. I was first introduced to Joe in the fall of 2002 after my election as sheriff.
During my 6 years in office I came to recognize and rely on his professional skills and talents, as well as his ability to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life.
His academic education, law enforcement training, work and life experience, and deep roots in the community place him in a unique position to serve Jefferson County as sheriff.
His opponent is an honorable and dedicated individual, but the time is now for a local person to be Sheriff. Joe is thoroughly familiar with the needs of the county and the citizens of the various communities. As importantly, someone that has the training and experience to translate that into improved service to the county. Joe Nole is that person.
