Last night, Aug. 10, I joined a packed crowd at the Wheel-In Motor Movie’s grand reopening, and I could barely believe my eyes.
The new drive-in screen, coupled with super-bright projection system, is glorious to behold – sharp, detailed images and vibrant warm colors crystal-clearly visible from any distance. The picture purely popped, truly a silver screen.
Watching movies at any drive-in is usually a compromise between unique ambience and substandard image quality, but there was no compromise to be seen last night.
Our community is now blessed with one of the best (if not the best) drive-in movie experiences in the country, so do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself.
