Thank you, Jefferson County Larry Scott Trail. On Saturday, April 11, the Jefferson County Horse 4-H Program and Equitese Pony Club held the annual Ride-a-thon on the Larry Scott Trail to raise funds to help pay for all members to go to horse camp this summer.
The kids braved the wind and rain, but had a great time. We would like to thank the community for sharing the trail with us, as we had 24 horses on the trail, with several new young riders. The public was very respectful and courteous. We made sure to go back and leave the trail cleaner than we started.
