The 13th season of the Port Townsend Wednesday Farmers Market closes Sept. 14. The market is 2-6 p.m. on Polk Street in uptown Port Townsend.
The weekday market is the food-focused, midweek sister to the much larger Port Townsend Saturday Farmers Market, which runs into December.
The bands Possum Carvers and Glutton Free Loafers perform on closing day; food in season for sale includes fresh tomatoes, salad greens, melons, corn, strawberries, blackberries, peppers, herbs, chicken, duck and rabbit from local farms, as well as local pastries and artisan cheese.
