The coroner has released the names of the two adult victims from an early-morning fire in the Brinnon area, according to Jefferson County Undersheriff Art Frank.
In a release from Frank, he cited Jefferson County Coroner Mike Haas as identifying the adults as Jenny and Jerry Drake, both 42 and from Monroe. Haas confirmed the ages of the three children as 11, 8 and 2.
According to Frank, investigators believe the victims were a family consisting of the parents and their children.
Officials were dispatched at 1 a.m. June 10 to 650 Salmon St. in Brinnon after a neighbor reported a house fire.
“Neighbors reported hearing an explosion and stated the hillside was on fire and the house, a small cabin, was gone,” Frank stated.
