According to East Jefferson Fire Rescue, a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck traveling eastbound on Irondale Road drifted across the center line and struck an oncoming red Honda Civic head-on around 11:53 a.m. March 27.
The Toyota, driven by a 17-year old Port Hadlock man, rode over the hood of the Honda before flipping over onto its left side. A woman who saw the accident helped extricate the man through the windshield of the pickup. The driver of the pickup truck was shaken up but otherwise unhurt.
The woman who helped the driver cut her finger while helping him.
