Suspect in Forks Peak 6 Adventure store burglary, arson is arrested

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Sean V. Della, 26, on Aug. 25 in connection with the Aug. 8 burglary and arson of the Peak 6 Adventure Store located in Forks.

A joint investigation with the Forks Police Department, LaPush Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, and Clallam County Sheriff Office resulted in the recovery of several hundred dollars of the stolen merchandise from a residence in LaPush, according to a press release Aug. 27 from the JCSO.

The investigation began on the morning of Aug. 9 when the owners of the Peak 6 Adventure Store reported the burglary and arson. Several thousand dollars of high end camping and hiking gear, as well as Native American jewelry, were taken during the burglary, according to the release. A small fire had been set in the business which burned out before causing any major damage.
