We asked and your answered. The Leader put out a call for photographs of the Dec. 25, 2017 snow, the first white Christmas in decades, and the community responded with enthusiasm. Here are some of the photos submitted by our readers. There are snowmen and snowwomen, scenes of winter wonderlands, flowers peeking out, awaiting a faraway spring, and puppies experiencing their first snow.
NEXT ASSIGNMENT: The Leader is planning its next community photo page for publication on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, Feb. 14. We’d love for our readers to submit photos of found hearts. Perhaps it’s a heart-shaped cloud, or a rock, or scrolls of leaves. Maybe it’s a spider web, a strawberry or a bit of moss. It could be a heart drawn in the sand, or carved on a tree. Wherever you see love in the form of a heart, take a photo and share it with us.
Email your photos to news@ptleader.com. Please send us files that are 1 MB (megabyte) or larger, if possible. Include where and when the photo was taken, the photographer’s name, and any other special information you would like to include. All ages are encouraged to participate – be creative and have fun!
Photos are due by noon on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Please note that we cannot guarantee the publication of every photo we receive.
