Port Townsend Rock Club hosts its annual Gemboree from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, Bob Sahli Building, 4907 Landes St.

The event is free and open to the public, and features demonstrations in beading, wire wrapping, fold forming, enameling copper tubing, faceting, scrimshaw and jewelry made with forks and spoons.

In addition, those attending can have a rock (must be no bigger than a softball) cut in half, time permitting.

Some demonstrations may be hands-on for a fee, as time and space allows.
