The Kiddie Parade makes people happy, even if the children are too young to remember what may be their first parade experience.

The largest gathering of children in Jefferson County so far this year may be the Rhododendron Festival Kiddie Parade, for which 600 participants received ribbons May 15.
Thanks to the many teachers and teacher's aides, parents, siblings and businesses that contributed to make the parade such a success. Here are those judged in the new categories:
