Bicyclists participating in 4K for Cancer were hosted by First Presbyterian Church of Port Townsend for the fourth consecutive year. Six congregation families welcomed the 21 bike riders to their homes for two nights, Aug. 6-7, during the participants’ rest day on the 70-day, 4,000-mile journey from Baltimore, Maryland, to Seattle. The 4K for Cancer rides and runs are in their 15th year of raising awareness for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. This year’s four rides and two runs have collectively raised $823,000.
