Women who are business owners, involved in a project with a purpose, or who are seeking an opportunity to participate in empowerment and learn how to maintain success in a changing world are invited to attend an event called "Women Helping Women" at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 23 at the Port Townsend Yacht Club, 2503 Washington St.
The event is sponsored by Javablessing Coffee and Tea.
The women's gathering includes an organic meal of summer salads and raw, vegan dishes by the Annapurna Center for Self-Healing, a free raffle for door prizes, music by Camelia Jade, and a panel of business-owning women sharing success and celebrating creativity and diversity.
Confirmed speakers include Dawn Reardon, N.D., owner of Bear Root Apothecary (formerly Uptown Nutrition); Hanna Lose-Frahn of Madrona MindBody Institute; Constance Dosing of Blessed Food Seattle; and Lisa Aniballi, owner of Empowerment Through Equus.
Sponsors include Red Dog Farms, Love It Again Consignment in Quilcene and artist Kira Mardikes.
Those attending have a special opportunity to display a product or introduce their business.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door, with some scholarships available. Advance tickets are available by calling Denise at 531-3561.
