Port Ludlow Associates has announced a new partnership with Coldwell Banker Bain and broker Chris Murphy.
Murphy has had great success with new construction in Seabrook, Washington, and most recently, in Point Ruston, Washington, according to a press release.
During his time at Seabrook, Murphy held the position of vice president of sales and marketing. In that role, he oversaw the marketing department and sales team for both the Seabrook vacation rental business and the for-sale residential real estate department. In 2013, Murphy moved back to Tacoma and joined MC Construction Consultants, the development company behind the $1.2 billion mixed-use master planned neighborhood located on the Tacoma waterfront.
Murphy managed the marketing department and worked closely with the on-site sales team to sell out its existing inventory and release new luxury waterfront condominiums.
Upon partnering with Coldwell Banker Bain, Port Ludlow Associates decided not to renew its franchise with John L. Scott Real Estate.
The decision to not renew the franchise agreement was based on the philosophy of focusing on new construction rather than the resale residential market, according to a press release.
Ludlow Cove Cottages is already 43 percent sold, and Olympic Terrace II is opening in fall 2016. Partnering with Murphy and Coldwell Banker Bain to represent both Ludlow Cove Cottages and Olympic Terrace II aligns with this philosophy and with the future of Port Ludlow and Port Ludlow Associates.
Over the past few years, Port Ludlow Associates has also forged partnerships with Union Studio, Geyer Coburn Hutchins and Rice Fergus Miller.
