The Hood Canal Bridge closes to vehicle traffic on Friday, May 1 for a period of approximately six weeks. This map indicates public transit, special transit, state ferries and water shuttles, and highway connections that will keep commerce and other traffic moving. There is a "medical bus" that will pick patients up at the Lofall Dock for transport to Kitsap County locations. This program is intended for people with scheduled, life-sustaining treatments, not emergencies or regular medical check-up appointments. The reservation phone number is 1-877-595-4222.
