Our father succumbed to a long-term illness, going peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by four biological children, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His deceased second wife (Evelyn) had eight children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He spent most of his life in Washington around the Port Hadlock area and went to Chimacum Schools where football was his favorite subject. He married at 19 and shortly after, was drafted into the Army during the Korean war. After he came home he became a logger and ran heavy equipment. He finally had to leave the woods after being hit by a wayward tree. He then worked at Crown Zellerbach papermill, his final job was his favorite: being a Crane Operator for Civil Service.

After retiring, he and his late wife spent most of their time playing golf and traveling (to play golf). He also loved attending his children and grandchildren's football games.

Our father was a kind, generous man, with many friends. He was always there for anyone in need (especially family). His memorial information will be set at a later date.

While we are apart

We will hold you in our hearts and never let you go.
