On October 5, 2018, retired Air Force Lt. Col. Eric Anderson, PhD, died unexpectedly. He was a member of the U.S. Intelligence Community who served tours of duty in Hawaii, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia and Washington DC.

Among his many military duties, he authored articles for the President’s Daily Brief, the National Intelligence Council, the International Security Advisory Board and the Department of Defense. In addition, Eric authored multiple books, most recently “Osiris” and “Annubis” based on his own life.

This September he completed a successful New York City and Washington DC book tour supporting his latest book “Byte”.

In between writing, Eric worked as a wood worker and contractor helping people with keeping their homes up and running.

A lifelong sailor, and Harley rider, Eric always invited one along for the adventure! Sharing time with family and friends was very important.

Eric had two children, Ainsley and Sean, who were very important to him. One of his books, “Adopting Ainsley” is about his adventure adopting a baby girl.

On November 2, Friday, at 2pm a Military Honors burial ceremony will be performed at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA. Locally, family and friends are invited to celebrate and share stories on October 20, 2018 Saturday, at 1pm – Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
